OPM UK #103 Demo Disc
Overview
Official PlayStation Magazine Demo 103 represents a late–life PS1 demo issue, released around 2003 when the PlayStation 2 was already well established. Despite that, it still offers a solid snapshot of the platform’s final wave of titles and cross–generation support.
For PS1 Disc Lab, this disc serves as a useful reference point for late-era PAL demo curation – showing how Sony and publishers continued to support the original hardware with samplers and promo content.
Selected contents
Exact lineup to be confirmed via capture and disc inspection. Example structure:
- Game A – playable demo
- Game B – playable demo
- Game C – non-interactive trailer
- Bonus videos / extras
Lab notes
Used frequently as a mid–tier anchor disc in mixed OPM bundles. Condition is usually good thanks to being stored in magazine sleeves, but resurfacing and light ring–wear are still common.
For PS1 Disc Lab’s long–term archive, a clean copy will be captured via the PS1 LCD capture rig, with menu navigation and each playable demo recorded in full.
Market notes
Pricing fluctuates depending on whether the original magazine is included, but as a standalone disc it typically falls into the readily available / low difficulty category. Best treated as a “filler” disc that supports more premium items in a bundle.
